If you are setting up your outlook express to work with an email address
that is not issued by Yukon Telephone but you are inside our service area
you will need to follow these additional steps once you get your email
setup. You will also need a Yukon Telephone email account.
Please contact our Wasilla office to get a Yukon Telephone email account
setup. 1-800-478-2556 or 472-2300.
Once you have
setup your account in Outlook Express Click on the TOOLS TAB to
pull down the TOOLS MENU, click on ACCOUNTS.
.
 On
the ACCOUNTS SCREEN click on the MAIL TAB and select your
account from the list. Click on PROPERTIES.

On the PROPERTIES SCREEN click on the SERVERS
TAB. Under Outgoing Mail Server check the box labeled MY SERVER
REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION and click on the SETTINGS BUTTON.

On the SETTINGS SCREEN select LOG ON USING
and in the ACCOUNT NAME and PASSWORD FIELDS type your
yukontel.com username and password. You must use your entire
yukontel.com email address as the Account name. Remember your
password is case sensitive. Check the REMEMBER PASSWORD BOX
so you do not have to enter the password when sending and receiving mail.

     Double
check that the information entered is correct. Click on the OK BOX
to save your settings and exit the screen.
