If you are part of a network and
can not connect to the internet fist check to make sure that all of the
computers on the network can not connect. If only part of the
computers on the network can not connect to the internet, this is not an
internet issue, it is a networking or computer issue and needs to be
looked at by your network technician. If all of the computers on
the network are unable to connect, follow the steps below to reboot your
network.
Turn off all the client computers.
Turn off the Server Computer.
Turn off or unplug any routers,
hubs, or other transport devices.
Unplug or turn off your modem. Your Modem is the
box Yukon Telephone issued at the time your service was installed.
It will have several lights on the front, you phone line should plug into
the back of it, and an Ethernet cable should run from the modem to your
computer or transport device.
Make sure all the wires are
plugged securely into the modem, any router or transport
device, and to the Ethernet port on the back of your computer(s).
Turn on or Plug back in the Modem.
Turn on or plug in your router or
other transport device.
Turn the server computer back on.
Turn on the client computers.
Wait a couple of minutes for
everything to fully reboot before trying to connect to the internet.
