What is Lifeline Phone Service?

Yukon Telephone offers lifeline phone service to customers who receive any type of State, Federal or Tribal aide or to customers who meet the income eligibility requirements. Types of aid can range from food stamps, denali kid care, energy assistance, social security, medicare and many more!! To be eligible for the Lifeline Program the person receiving assistance must be the primary holder of the telephone account and proof of assistance must be provided with the Lifeline Application.
